While announcing no meeting between Palestinian and Israeli officials was cancelled Monday (contrary to earlier reports), Deputy State Department Press Secretary Marie Harf also said that she cannot confirm if any meeting actually took place at a State Department press briefing that elicited a frustrated reaction from the AP’s Matthew Lee and CNN’s Elise Labott.

Clearly, now that Obama’s been reelected, the media has outlived its usefulness to the Regime. The “most transparent administration in US history” will not answer questions that do not further his agenda. When there’s good news (for the Regime) they will issue press releases glorifying Obama for the media to transcribe like obedient lapdogs. When their negotiations for Mideast peace end in failure – well -that’s nobody’s business.
